Anatomica Beach Cloth Jacket

$570
Anatomica’s Brown’s Beach Jacket draws on a piece of American workwear history. Made from Beach Cloth, a densely knitted wool-and-cotton fabric once common in American winter wear before modern insulation, Pierre Fournier and Kinji Teramoto recreated the material through careful trial and error, honoring its original texture and weight. The jacket echoes vintage construction techniques, with simple piping and joined panels, and is finished with original dot buttons. Cut in a short, boxy silhouette, it layers easily and wears loosely for a relaxed, timeless feel. Made in Japan.

dark navy

Some work can only happen in the presence of two obsessives — the kind where cloth gets unrolled, seams are examined from every angle, and a single buttonhole can spark a conversation as if it were a plot twist in a novel.
